Once again this year, Food Camp will be hosted by TSU Wildlife, Sustainability, and Ecosystem Sciences (Paula McKeehan and her students) in partnership with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. It’s gonna be a blast!
Growing Up Green is a one day camp teaching the use of fresh produce and herbs to season foods, safe kitchen practices, waste reduction, and various gardening and food preparation techniques!
This year, Food Camp will be divided up by age.
Clover Chefs Camp is for youth who have completed grades K – 2nd grade.
It will be held on Tuesday June 27th from 9 am – 1 pm.
Sous Chefs Camp is for youth who have completed 3rd grade – 11th grade.
It will be held on Thursday, June 29th from 9 am – 3 pm.
Cost: $25/child (includes lunch)
Location: Both Growing Up Green Food Camps will be held at the TSU Food Lab at Wisdom Gym, Room 176
